Gand Canyon - North Rim

So what of the Grand Canyon north rim?

Well, it stands a thousand feet higher at 8100 feet (8800 feet at Point Imperial); is less visited as there are no towns or cities within a few hour's drive; is closed in the winter as it gets too much snow; has a lodge that sits right on the edge of the cliff; is surrounded by pine forests so is naturally cooler in the summer than the sweltering south rim.
